Valentin Afonso

I’m a full-stack developer at @Upmotion. I’m interested in many areas of the web ecosystem whether it’s web application development, e-commerce, CMSs, AI, UX/UI, animation, and more.

In recent years, though, I’ve naturally started to specialize in web application development. Modern JavaScript frameworks, clean code, optimization, and application architecture are the things that excite me the most. Of course, the rise of AI in our industry is something I fully embrace, use regularly, and simply couldn’t ignore.

I’ve now been working as a full-time developer for five years. But my journey really began in 2018, when I started a Associate’s degree in computer science, which eventually led me to earn a Master’s degree in web development in 2023. Since then, the adventure has continued with new projects each one more exciting than the last.
